Dear Baby Ethan,
I'm looking forward to seeing my grandparents today! They are coming up from Kansas City. They are going to come by. Joshy and Rose will also come and we can have some dinner in the cafeteria.
I had some very tasty French Toast and a protein shake for breakfast. I then finished my book "All The Light We Cannot See". It had a bittersweet ending. Some good, and some sad things. WWII was such a tragic time. Even those that made it out had scars from it.
Grandma and Grandpa came in from Kansas City. They visited in the afternoon while Rose and your dad were at church. They brought a sweet cardigan for Rose, and some cute outfits for you!
Your dad was quite productive at the condo and got a lot done while Rose was at daycare. I feel bad that Rose has to be at daycare on Saturdays, but it is just too much for me to watch you on my own given that I cannot pick Rose up.
It was so nice to see Grandma and Grandpa. We had a nice time chatting. I heard about grandpa's trip to the "train mountain" in Washington State. There are 34 miles of track that train enthusiasts can take their trains on. Grandma and Grandpa then went back to the house and Grandma folded laundry that had been piling up. Then everyone came back to the hospital to have some Dickey's BBQ with me. I love their turkey.
So far we have been in the hospital 17 nights.
Upcoming Events
Saturday my Grandma and Grandpa are coming to visit! They are going to see your Aunt Daisy and cousin Anna Beth in Lincoln and then head over here for some dinner and to stay the night.
It sounds like we should get to see how your growth is going on August 3rd when we do another sonogram. Just 1 days away!
August 15th is the 6 year anniversary for your daddy and I! We got married August 15, 2009 in Kansas City. I feel so lucky and blessed to have a good husband that is so low maintenance.
Your Ummichi will be here Friday August 21st for baby Anna Beth's baptism. She will be here for a bit to help take care of Anna and Rose. That is just 4 weeks from today, when you will be 34 weeks along and in even better shape to be born.
Your birthday will likely be September 8th! Just 40 days!
