Happy Friday baby Ethan!
I'm so glad it's Friday. That means I have a few days off from work. I keep surprisingly busy during the weekdays. I am quite thankful to have work to do, it helps the days go by. It also helps my peace of mind to know that we still have my salary coming in. I really enjoy my work and colleagues.
We heard from our insurance people, and the utilization person at the hospital, that I am now approved to stay in the hospital until August 5th. I will have to follow up with the utilization person that day to make sure my stay is extended.
Last night I stayed up quite late reading "All The Light We Cannot See". It is a very good book about two teens during WWII. One is a blind girl living in France, and another is a boy gifted with repairing radios and machines. It flips back and forth thus far.
Deacon Michael visited again today to give me communion. I am so thankful for the service, so that I can still have the body of Christ. I will be watching mass on Sunday, either on EWTN or at 11 I can watch our actual church service at St. Robert Bellarmine (http://www.stroberts.com/media-webcast/home). Apparently he just finished reading "All The Light We Cannot See" also.
I have been feeling very good today. Very few cramps, and no pain. Things seem to have quieted down a bit. I am so thankful it has been more than a week now since my last bleeding issue.
I had a nice night with your daddy and Rose. Rose enjoys pretending to talk on the phone and playing in the sink. We went outside to see the water features on my wheel chair ride. It was so humid!
16 nights in the hospital as of now! I still have the same IV that I got on July 20th when I came in. It's in a good spot in my forearm so it is much less sensitive and bothersome than if it were in my wrist or hand.
Upcoming Events
Saturday my Grandma and Grandpa are coming to visit! They are going to see your Aunt Daisy and cousin Anna Beth in Lincoln and then head over here for some dinner and to stay the night.
It sounds like we should get to see how your growth is going on August 3rd when we do another sonogram. Just 2 days away!
August 15th is the 6 year anniversary for your daddy and I! We got married August 15, 2009 in Kansas City. I feel so lucky and blessed to have a good husband that is so low maintenance.
Your Ummichi will be here Friday August 21st for baby Anna Beth's baptism. She will be here for a bit to help take care of Anna and Rose. That is just 4 weeks from today, when you will be 34 weeks along and in even better shape to be born.
Your birthday will likely be September 8th! Just 41 days!
Love you,
Mommy
